CDN for Service Providers
Build your own Content Delivery Network
Private CDN and service provider CDN solutions.
The complete “build your own CDN” platform.
OnApp is now part of Virtuozzo, and Virtuozzo is the new home of the OnApp CDN platform. It’s a complete solution for private CDN and service provider CDN, including:
- A CDN software stack that deploys in your datacenters
- An advanced Anycast DNS routing service
- A CDN marketplace offering wholesale CDN PoPs across the world, that you can use to extend the coverage of your CDN service
A complete CDN software stack
The platform deploys on commodity x64 infrastructure, giving you an intuitive CDN control panel and whatever mix of caching servers, dynamic acceleration servers, storage servers, live streaming or Video on Demand servers you need.
Monetize your infrastructure
If you’re a Telco or CSP with your own network of datacenters, the platform enables you to build and manage your own CDN – so you can monetize your infrastructure investments, and don’t have to depend on reselling third party CDNs at low margins..
Integrated CDN marketplace
If you don’t have an extensive network of datacenters, our wholesale CDN marketplace gives you access to edge servers across the world. You can use any location on demand, without commits, and use the marketplace to provide some or all of your CDN locations.
We support push and pull for HTTP/HTTPS, plus streaming video and Video on Demand in a wide range of formats and protocols. With user management and billing tools built in, it’s easy to create CDN services for different types of customer.
The platform helps to protect your customers’ content and enables them to implement their own content delivery policies. It includes integrated WAF, SSL from origin to CDN, and CDN to end users; SNI SSL support; link encryption for multiple RTMP variants; secure token and geoblocking support, anti-leech and hotlink prevention.
Monitoring & reporting
The platform includes a range of reports that help you and your customers understand how different content and locations are performing. You can display reports as graphs and tables and export as a CSV for further analysis, including by protocol type, data type, specific edge servers, owners, streams, CPU, billing and more.
